knowledge : the sum of what is known : the body of truth, information, and principles acquired by humankind (Knowledge, 2015) [1] Webster Oxford Free OneLook Word Reference Urban Visuwords
Knowledge is a familiarity with someone or something, that can include descriptions, facts, information, and/or skills acquired through experience or education. It can refer to both the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject. It can be implicit (as with practical skill or expertise) or explicit (as with the theoretical understanding of a subject); and it can be more or less formal or systematic. In philosophy, the study of knowledge is called epistemology, and the philosopher Plato famously defined knowledge as "justified true belief." There is however no single agreed upon definition of knowledge, and there are numerous theories to explain it. (Knowledge, 2015) [2]blank.gif Wikipedia

Management

knowledge management : a range of practices used to identify, create, represent, distribute and enable adoption of insights and experiences. Such insights and experiences comprise knowledge, either embodied in individuals or embedded in organisational processes or practice (Knowledge Management, 2015) [7]blank.gifWikipedia
"Broadly, knowledge management is a system or process for sharing insights, experiences and information collaboratively to create value. Institutions use various methods for handling) storing, categorizing) information in its myriad forms, formats and versions. This information is organized so that it is easily accessible and builds the myriad forms, formats and versions. This information is organized so that it is easily accessible and builds the institutional knowledge base of a particular group. Economy

Knowledge economy is a term that refers either to an economy of knowledge focused on the production and management of knowledge in the frame of economic constraints, or to a knowledge-based economy. In the second meaning, more frequently used, it refers to the use of knowledge technologies (such as knowledge engineering and knowledge management) to produce economic benefits as well as job creation. The phrase was popularized by Peter Drucker as the title of Chapter 12 in his book The age of discontinuity ((Drucker, 1968) [13] , And, with a footnote in the text, Drucker attributes the phrase to economist Fritz Machlup.
